FAQs

We appreciate you reading this before emailing us. If you still have questions do not hesitate to email and ask. (hoopsofcreation@gmail.com)

Are your hoops collapsible?

Our standard LED hoops are not collapsible. Most of our customers do not mind that they are not collapsible, as most hoopers travel with other non-collapsible day hoops as well.

However, if you are a jet-setter and this is a must have, put in your order form “notes” that you would prefer this option and we will gladly add it.

What do PPE, polypro, and HDPE mean?

PPE is polypro or polypropylene.

HDPE is high density polyethylene.

For suggestions on which to get refer to our step by step ordering guide here.

What does ID and OD mean?

ID stands for inner diameter. OD stands for outer diameter. You could use these terms to refer to tubing or the actual hoops diameter.

What is the difference between white and uv?

I get this question often. White is white. UV is purple or blacklight, but is NOT the same as our solid purple LED.

What colors do you suggest?

Refer to our handy color tips here. Or email Taylor at hoopsofcreation@gmail.com. I love helping design hoops. We will soon be adding “Pre-Designed” hoops as well so that you don’t have to think anything out!

What is a circuit?

Circuits are separate chains of lights that can be turned on and off within a single hoop.

If you get a two circuit hoop you have 3 different options -

Circuit 1 on

Circuit 2 on

Circuit 1 and 2 on together

If you get a three circuit hoop you have 7 different options -

Circuit 1 on

Circuit 2 on

Circuit 3 on

Circuit 1 and 2 on

Circuit 1 and 3 on

Circuit 2 and 3 on

Circuit 1, 2, and 3 on

Lots of options!!!

What effects weight?

Everything effects it but the noticeable differences will be found mostly in the amount of circuits and the batteries you choose.

Each added circuit means adding wire. We can make really light 3 circuit hoops, but they will never be as light as our one circuit hoops.

AA batteries are more than double the weight of AAA batteries. Refer to our weight chart here to have a better understanding of what you are getting.

What are the “special” LEDs you keep referring to?

I just use that term for lack of a better word. We have so many different LEDs that I just find that’s the best way to differentiate as to whether or not I’m talking about solid LEDs.

Special LEDs have a strobe like effect and they are explained in greater detail here.

Are your LED pictures seen here of hoops?

No those are single LEDs. When you look at the pictures of different styles of LEDs you are viewing an individual LED hooked to a battery that I am moving around. These are NOT photos of an actual hoop.

What does r, o, y or g, b, p mean?

If you see single letters they are referring to colors.

R=Red

O= Orange

Y= Yellow

G= Green

A = Aqua

B= Blue

P or V= Purple

UV= Ultraviolet

Pi= Pink

W= White
