We get asked A LOT about the weight of our LED hoops. We have some of the lightest, most durable, brightest LED hoops on the market. Please read the weight facts to decide what hoop fits your needs best. If weight is not of importance to you then all of our hoops will suit you fine. There are MANY hoopers out there that want the lightest, and we offer that.
The two things that add the most weight to your hoop are batteries and adding circuits. The difference between AAA batteries and AA batteries IS noticeable. We install 4 batteries in regular hoops and 3 batteries in each mini, internally. 4 AAA batteries will weigh around 1 oz while 4 AA batteries will weigh around 3 oz. The amount of LEDs you choose will not effect weight in a noticeable way.
The hoop that people love for it’s lightness is our ONE CIRCUIT with AAA batteries in polypro. This hoop only weighs 9 ounces! Whether that is 5/8″ OD polypro for people who like tiny tubing or our 3/4″ OD polypro for a sturdier feel.

A 20 LED hoop with half SOLID LEDs and half SPARKLE LEDs with 4 AAA batteries will roughly last about 3 hours.
A 20 LED hoop with half SOLID LEDs and half SPARKLE LEDs with 4 AA batteries will roughly last about 5 hours.
Your LED choices, as well as your battery choices, do effect the lit time. Red Solids last about 15 minutes longer than the opposite color of the spectrum, Ultra-Violet.
Sparkle LEDs last the longest, putting these in are a good way to make your hoop last longer. The same goes for all Dash LEDs and Rainbow with NO GAPS.
